My Summer Vacation

I have been enjoying my 9 days of summer vacation (I teach at a year around school.) We enjoyed a few days in San Diego. We went to Taylor Guitars and took my Aunt Teresa and Cousin Bryce on the Factory tour. We also visited Old Town and the beach. When we came home I remodeled my scrapbook room, visited with my Auntie Patty who is in town visiting, a few dinners with another friend, helped a friend move, and of course played many games of Madden 08 with my hubby. I can't believe I only have one day left before the new year begins again. Oh yes I also managed to fit in a little scrap booking and swimming

Sunday Chrissy Tom and Sydney came over to hang out in the pool. We had a great time playing in the water and chatting. It is nice to spend time with family

Check out the adorable sydney swimmingAfter Sydney we watched the first preseason game of the NFL the Hall of Fame Game. Sydney enjoyed cheering on the Steelers, she even experienced her first Steelers touch down. Her mommy said she just liked the bright colors I think she just has good taste!

I realized it is the perfect bachelor stove, and a great use of space for many in their younger years. Max was using the shelf to roast his coffee, when cleaning up the kitchen after himself he tossed the pizza box out of his way.

Yes this has been a mellow week we are both wrapping up our school years last day for kids on the 10th of August. We have also been enjoying the pool a bit.
