House Party

Chrissy and Tom are on their way to being homeowners. To celebrate their offer being accepted tehy threw a small dinner party that turned into afancy dinner all the girls wore dress. They were both smiling ear to ear ready to take this next step.

Swimmming Lessons

My Mom has been taking Sydney to Swimming lessons. She asked me to come along one day to capture the fun they have. Afterwards I headed to the Hood House to help Chrissy pack up the scrapbook/craft space. She needed help deciding what goes into the Packrat while they live temporarily with Auntie Patty, and begin their house hunt





The focus sucks on this one I was playing with the natural lighting but I love the moment captured.


At the end of the lesson the kids played 3 little ducks and splashed into the water, it was so cute!Sydney was very content to make sure her head did not go under (the focus of the activity)

I love the relaxed look on my moms face trying to give some of that to the stiff I am not floating on my back princess.

SLIIIDDDE she is so cute she fills her hands up with water to wet down the slide before each turn, but while waiting all of the water has dripped out.

To practice kick and pull the kids swim towards a preferred toy, today Sydney choose a yellow airplane. Nice throw Grandma!

Red Rock

I am on a two week track break and luckily my mom is still of work due to her knee surgery so we have been able to spend some time together. Tuesday we went out to lunch and lite shopping. Thursday we headed out to Red Rock to see the snow. It was beautiful! We saw an odd thing or two and even posed around a bit. It has been wonderful to spend some low key time with just mom and I it has been to long since we have done that.

Mom's Birthday and Cakes

My mom celebrated her birthday in a very special week of fun. On Thursday her sister Pat came in from California as soon as she landed the family met at the Silverton for dinner. Friday we celebrated at Mom's house with a Wii tournament pizza and I told mom I would like to bring desert. I surprised her with special cakelets . On Saturday mom's actual birthday we had dinner at the Black Angus and then went to see the Wayne Brady show. OVer all it was a very cool week end of family and fun!

My Aunt made my mom a very special scrapbook card with pictures of her throughout her life most of which she had never seen before.
