Sydney Sitting

On Saturday I spent the evening Sydney Sitting. We had a great time keeping busy and having fun. First we went to "The Artful Potter" and created a special birthday present for Grandma. Then we headed tot he bookstore to pick out an Easter story. We were surprised to hear some live music. She loved the "Music" and danced and listened to the end of the first band, then we went to lick out our "story." The second band come on and she looked at me and tugged my hand "music please?" So we listened to several more songs before heading to our next errand and then home for dinner, and playing and of course reading more stories. We had a few bumps in the road no "APPPLE JUUUUICE" in Aunt Lulu's car, and bath time, yes I was more wet then she was. Then it was time for bed she was so tired I held her in my arms and sang "Twinkle Twinkle" and she went limp after just two word. I love my special moments and just Ms. Sydney and Aunt Lulu.

"Cool Sponge can I eat this?"

"Cheese" I found if I propped up my camera with a box of crayons from her diaper bag and used the timer mode I could get some fun pictures.
"Paint" "Paint please"
She found out that sponging it off was as fun as painting it on.
Miss serious at work she painted for over 2 hours, we were both a little dirty and very happy
Dinner time! The curse of Mac and Cheese strikes Luann again yes I messed up easy Mac but she liked it anyway.

Playing dress up I think she gets her fashion sense from her Aunt Lulu poor kid.

Playing around right before bed time, gotta love those pretty blue eyes!

My Birthday

Well my wonderful birthday is about to end boo hoo! It was a very special low key day full of treats.

This morning my furry girls and wonderful hubby played birthday songs on the Ipod and the girls listened and cuddled me on the couch. What a great way to start a day! When I arrived at work my assistant Kris baked a great marble cake and the kids (with a little help) made a big card and hid from me giving me a surprise party! They also each gave me a birthday hug!

After work I played my birthday gift (a guitar) for a while then Max and I went out for a wonderfully yummy dinner at the Claim Jumper. Check out that yummy red velvet cupcake above. It was nice to have a nice romantic dinner with great food and even better company!

My very favorite surprise though was this sitting on my computer this morning.
Max knows how much I love home made cards and impresses me with each one check out the inside! The art is made of wire!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you everyone for the birthday e-mail and well wishes, I am a very lucky girl to be surrounded by so many wonderful people!
