Good Morning Sunshine

Lake Las Vegas

The best thing about training for my 4th Avon Walk for Breast Cancer is that to beat the Vegas heat I wake up very early to walk. Today I decided to walk out at Lake Mead since I had a shoot out there (to be poster later.) I was delighted to watch the sunrise, I was near the entrance station on the lake loop trail. It was amazing to watch and a great reminder of why I wake up early.

Last Friday I woke up bright and early I had promised DH some puppy time before he went to work but he was not in bed, about 10 seconds later he and Lucy(puppy) jumped into bed. I smiled and he asked Coffee? I stumbled out of bed to make his coffee (he had just finished directing 4 concerts in two days so I have been the super supportive wife but it was early I grumbled in my head. I made his coffee and got dressed so I could go clean up puppy poop (I was off and it was one of the last things to get off of my list.) Any who he told me he forgot some stuff in his truck last night could I please get it. Still grumbling I go out and find a brand new paddle for my Kayak and a dry bag???? I am a little confused at this point. I stumble out to the back porch where he is enjoy his coffee and thank him. At that point he let me know he was starting his vacation a day early and we were going to spend the day together on the Colorado River, ad the dry bag was for our food YIPEEE!!!!!!!!!! I was so shocked, I have been a little bummed that my vacation and his were not together due to his concerts (I love year around schools!) I replied "but I have to clean up poop." He grinned "not the reaction I was hoping for." Everything slowly made sense and I quickly helped him get everything together.

We had a wonderful day on the river and paddle quickly upstream (my new paddle was great) we enjoyed a snack and then kept padding only to hit some hard rapids, after struggling for a long time we decided to take a mini break and make a plan. It was at that point we realized they were releasing water from the Hoover Dam and today was not our day to make the long paddle to the dam. We turned around and went back to our spot and enjoyed a yummy lunch and practiced self rescue I did it! It was wonderful to feel so relaxed and play together! When we got back to the truck I was surprised to discover we had paddled for 9 hours, my how time flies when your having fun! The whole day I realized how lucky I am that he realized how important this time together was for us. Man I love my man!

Spring Concert

Max's students performed an amazing the Unity tree. I loved going both nights and watching the students show off their skills, the parents amazed at their child's efforts (there were even tears the first night.) I love watching my hubby in action as he waves his baton and the students responded famously!

Max wanted to give special thank you gifts to those who helped him, so I baked dog bone cookies and served them up in cute dog bowls. It was fun to use my talents and watching his students show off the result of his talents.

Proud mom look at that skill she is recording and taking pictures she sat like that through the whole show.

The Ward Family

On June 8th I joined the Ward family at Paso Verde Park for a fun family photo shoot. I work with Janet and I have to say the smile she had while with her family is amazing, you can tell she loves her family with all of her heart. Thank you Wards for letting me capture your energy and love so that you may remember your little girls for years to come, they will never be that age again.

The Future Sinsini's

On June 7th I was lucky enough to be part of a major surprise for Megan. Megan started the night thinking she was stopping by her grandma's house to collect a birthday present, but little did she know the surprises her 25th birthday would bring. She arrived at her Grandma's to find a surprise birthday party (where I tried to blend in with her friends explaining I was a gift from her mom to take pictures of the evening little did they know!)

"Surprise Megan you are not going to the Rainforest Cafe!" arriving at the surprise party.

It was time to open presents this is Vincenzo watching her open his gift a beautiful jewelry box.

Look at the love on their faces

Only a handful of people in the room knew what was inside, the squeals from Megan and her excited friends was awesome. After they celebrated for a few minutes with their friends and family we went outside to do a quick engagement shoot. The energy between Megan and Vincenzo was amazing and the love between them just poured out of their laughter, smiles, and tender touches. Thank you for letting be part of your special day!

On June 7th I was lucky enough to addend the Catholic Daughters fashion show and luncheon, with my Mom, Aunt Sharon, and Sydney. The highlight of the day was watching my grandma strut her stuff on the runway with all of the grace of a SUPERMODEL! All of the clothes they were modeling were from Dillard's.
